Eternal Father, strong to save…guard me through this night and guide me through tomorrow. Save me from my own foolishness, from moments when I am likely to deny you, from pressures that preempt my attempts at faithful following. May I rest in the assurance of your unfailing presence. May I rest in your hand and in your heart. May I wake tomorrow to the eternal voice of my Master: “Come, follow me.” Here I am, Lord. I come.
